After a successfull 2008 term we are now into our 2009 term which started April 6th 2009. Every year we have an exciting line-up of guest instructors so if you are a worship leader, or involved in worship ministry at your church and you want to expand your world, consider applying for our spring term for 2010. Like last year, our current students hail from from around the world including places like Europe, Trinidad, Australia and United States. The course will run from April 6th-June 13th.
Among the new developments this year is the opening of our sister worship school in Dresden, Germany. Check it out www.treibhausonline.de. The emphasis of both CWSW and The Treibhaus is on training you for service in your church and and beyond. Subjects include band dynamics, basic digital editing and recording, songwriting, worship and justice, cultivating a heart of worship, christian artists in the marketplace and much, much more.
Here is the kind of students we are looking for:
I am a musician who has been involved in either leading or helping to lead worship in our church for several years or more and I love doing that. I also feel like God is asking me to step out in my gifting on a different level and so I am looking for a way to be inspired by other artists and learn more about what God has for me. I want to learn more about what it is to be a leader, learn some more practical skills in music, and also develop myself more on a spiritual level. I also care about what God is doing in my city and I want be a partner with Him in bringing His Kingdom to people who don?t usually go to church. I have the feeling that there is another dimension to my ministry that I haven't explored yet.
Our school is based in Kelowna, BC and is sponsored and hosted by the Kelowna Vineyard Church. School Fees
The costs for full time (meaning all ten weeks) students who require housing and food will be $4000.00 if fees are paid in full before march 1st. After that, the fees go up to $4250.00. For those students who are local, or who can provide their own housing and food the costs will be $2800.00 before march 1st. After that the fees will be $3050.00. All fess are in Canadian funds. There will be a $25.00 per session drop in fee for those local students who want to take in just specific sessions.
